Welcome to Sunshine Helps Services. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sunshine Helps website, mobile application, and related services. By creating an account, accessing, or using Sunshine Helps, you agree to these Terms.

  1. About Sunshine Helps

Sunshine Helps Services is a local services marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers (“Helpers” or “Providers”) offering services such as transportation, car washing, car care, home services, repairs, and other everyday services.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Sunshine Helps does not directly perform the services listed by independent Providers.

  1. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features of Sunshine Helps.

You agree to:

Provide accurate and current information. Keep your login information secure. Not share your account with unauthorized persons. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Use only one identity and not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

  1. Customers

Customers may search for Providers, review listings, request services, book available services, communicate with Providers, and make payments when payment functionality is available.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information necessary to complete a service, including addresses, dates, times, service details, and other requested information.

Customers must treat Providers respectfully and may not request illegal, dangerous, fraudulent, or prohibited services.

  1. Service Providers / Helpers

Providers are responsible for the services they advertise and perform.

Providers agree to:

Provide truthful information about their skills and services. Provide accurate prices and availability. Complete accepted services professionally and safely. Follow applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, permits, and insurance requirements. Communicate respectfully with Customers. Not misrepresent their qualifications, identity, experience, or services. Providers are independent service providers and are not employees of Sunshine Helps unless expressly stated otherwise.

  1. Listings and User Content

Users may be able to upload listings, descriptions, photos, videos, messages, reviews, and other content.

You are responsible for content you submit.

You may not upload content that:

Is illegal, fraudulent, threatening, or abusive. Violates another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights. Contains misleading or false information. Promotes illegal activities. Contains malicious software or harmful material. You grant Sunshine Helps permission to display and use content you submit as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the marketplace.

  1. Bookings and Service Requests

A service request or booking may create an agreement directly between the Customer and Provider.

Customers and Providers are responsible for confirming important service details before the service begins, including:

Location Date Pickup or appointment time Drop-off time when applicable Price Scope of work Special requirements Sunshine Helps may provide the technology that facilitates these transactions but cannot guarantee that every Customer or Provider will complete a transaction.

  1. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors.

By making or receiving a payment through Sunshine Helps, you may also be subject to the payment processor’s terms and policies.

Sunshine Helps does not directly store complete payment card information when payments are handled by third-party payment processors.

Applicable marketplace fees, commissions, service fees, taxes, or other charges may be deducted or added as disclosed during the transaction.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the service, Provider, timing of cancellation, marketplace policies, and circumstances surrounding the transaction.

Users should review booking information carefully before confirming a transaction.

Sunshine Helps may review disputes and take appropriate action when necessary, but refunds are not automatically guaranteed in every situation.

  1. Transportation Services

Providers offering transportation services are responsible for complying with applicable driver licensing, vehicle registration, insurance, inspection, and other transportation requirements.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off information.

Sunshine Helps does not guarantee travel times, arrival times, traffic conditions, or the availability of any particular transportation Provider.

  1. Safety

Users are expected to use reasonable judgment when interacting with people through the marketplace.

Sunshine Helps may take steps designed to improve marketplace safety, but we cannot guarantee the identity, background, qualifications, conduct, or safety of every user.

If you believe another user is engaging in suspicious, fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe behavior, please stop interacting with that person and report the matter to Sunshine Helps.

For emergencies or immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency authorities.

  1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Sunshine Helps to:

Commit fraud or deception. Harass, threaten, or harm another person. Arrange illegal services. Attempt to bypass security measures. Access another user’s account without permission. Collect another user’s information for unauthorized purposes. Manipulate reviews or marketplace activity. Use the platform in a way that damages Sunshine Helps or other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  1. Reviews and Ratings

Customers and Providers may be able to review each other.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain threats, discrimination, harassment, false statements, or unrelated personal information.

Sunshine Helps may remove reviews that violate marketplace policies.

  1. Third-Party Services

Sunshine Helps may rely on third-party companies for services including payment processing, maps, hosting, notifications, analytics, or other technology.

Sunshine Helps is not responsible for outages, errors, or actions caused solely by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

  1. No Guarantee of Services

Sunshine Helps does not guarantee:

That a Provider will accept a request. That a Customer will complete a booking. The quality of every service. Continuous availability of the platform. That users will always meet their obligations. Users are responsible for evaluating whether a transaction is appropriate for them.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sunshine Helps will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the marketplace or services provided by independent users.

Service Providers are primarily responsible for the services they personally perform.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

  1. Account Suspension or Termination

Sunshine Helps may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary, including when a user:

Violates these Terms. Creates safety concerns. Engages in fraud or abuse. Misuses the marketplace. Creates legal or security risks. Users may also stop using Sunshine Helps at any time.

  1. Privacy

Your use of Sunshine Helps is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how personal information may be collected, used, stored, and shared.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Sunshine Helps, legal requirements, marketplace features, or business practices.

The updated Terms will include a revised effective date.

Continued use of Sunshine Helps after updated Terms become effective means you agree to the updated Terms, where permitted by law.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where Sunshine Helps operates, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to users.
